It is with great pleasure that we can announce that Wizz Air has appointed Azzurra, GH Italia's ground handling UK subsidiary, as its Ground Handling Provider in London Luton as from December 1st 2017.
With the awarded handling volume of approximately 17,000 handling operations per year, Azzurra will achieve a market share of around 30%.
With the new station, GH Italia is strengthening its position in the UK market: LTN becomes Azzurra's third station in the United Kingdom alongside London Heeathrow (since 2012) and Birmingham (in cooperation with Premiere Handling since March 1st 2017).
Furthermore, the Group is endeavouring to expand in the UK area and is making further applications for various ground handling concessions.
